Helene & Brian knew they wanted two things for their portraits: a location with trees and a location with architecture. So on this rare sunny day, we headed out to the city with one of our newest #EricaVernisCouple for their San Francisco engagement session!
Brian proposed to Helene last March, literally the weekend the pandemic had shut down everything. They didn’t expect their first days as an engaged couple to be spent on lockdown, but they were not going to let the change in events stop them from wedding planning! They knew first thing was first, they needed to get their engagement photos done as soon as possible! Only about a week after booking us as their wedding photographers did they start planning this important part of the wedding process.
The afternoon spent with Helene and Brian during their SF engagement session was one of the best evenings we had in 2020. These two made it so easy to have a conversation with. Not to mention, Brian’s sense of humor helped me get genuine smiles out of his bride-to-be! Getting to know them in person, makes us EXTRA excited to photograph more laughter from these two again at their wedding this summer! (Did I forget to mention that they’re dancers? A couple after my own heart!) We’re counting downs the days until we see them in sunny Carmel-by-the-Sea for their Carmel Fields wedding!
