There were swarms of people filling the hallways. I was running throughout the place trying to find a secluded spot for us to use for the first look. Right as Johnny called me to let me know he had arrived at city hall, I found a room to the right of the staircase. I brought him over to the room and I left him there with Miguel while I went to meet his soon-to-be wife at the entrance.

Tiffany was waiting for me at the entrance of City Hall, waiting for her cue to see her groom for the first time. I walked with her over to the room Johnny was in and just like that they had their First Look! The ear to ear smiles they both had was so contagious! I couldn’t help but smile and laugh behind my camera.

We spent almost three hours at SF City Hall. And if it wasn’t for our grumbling stomachs towards the end of it, we could’ve kept going!

When Tiffany had first asked me about photographing their ceremony, she warned me that neither her nor Johnny photographed well and that they would both be really awkward. I still remember her saying “Good luck!” on our last meeting before their wedding day.

To Tiffany and Johnny: Happy one Year Anniversary! You two are still one of the most happy, photogenic couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with and I don’t care if you deny it! I hope this past year has blessed you two with love and happiness. And tell Skye I miss his cute face 😉
