As Raquel slipped into her dress with her mother and sister by her side, she looked up at herself in the mirror. Sophia, Raquel’s mother, watched her daughter and tears began flowing down both of their cheeks. Raquel was about to marry her high school sweetheart in a matter of minutes. Her dream wedding had become reality at the McCauley Estate Vineyards in Brentwood, CA.

Raquel is the oldest daughter and granddaughter in her family. I have the greatest pleasure of knowing her maternal family. Knowing their family tree, their family history, and how close the family is with each other, I knew how long awaited this day was.

Raquel and Bryan have been together since their Freedom High School days, though, they’ve actually known each other since elementary school. Raquel was a cheerleader and Bryan on the football team (it’s hard not to think that these two are the perfect couple!) They both knew at a young age that they were it for one another. A couple of years after they graduated, they were blessed with the news they would be expecting their baby boy, Angelo. It was there at their baby shower that Bryan surprised her with a proposal!

Their wedding day could not have been more perfect! The weather, the flowers, the music, the loving atmosphere from all of their guests! But most of all, the looks shared between Raquel & Bryan were the reason I could not put my camera down all day!

Thank you, Mr. & Mrs. Wargo for including me in your long awaited, special day at McCauley Estate Vineyards! I cannot wait to continue to see you and your little family grow… “forever and two days”

This is the moment I remember most from the entire day! Cue the waterworks!

Before the day ends, I always make sure to capture newlywed portraits at golden hour (my favorite time of the day for photos!) We just happen to have a special little one join us for these portraits, the bride and groom’s son, Angelo!
