The weather on the morning of the Perlera Wedding in Hollister, CA was so perfect. That was all that I could think about on my drive to this secluded venue. So much so, that it didn’t even surprise me when I arrived at Paicines Ranch wedding venue and found all of the bridesmaids getting ready outside. This house was part of the venue (it was literally rock-throwing distance from the reception).

SPOILER ALERT: I even used it as a backdrop for the bridesmaid portraits! I loved it so much!

Steve and his groomsmen had their own idea of how to get ready for the big day…

Its never a dried-eye moment when the father of the bride sees his baby girl in her wedding dress for the first time!

Briana & Steve’s Backstory (in a nutshell): A sudden health problem made Briana’s family rush her to the hospital. And at that same point in time in her life, she had been talking to Steve via social media, but had never met him face-to-face. Little did she know that this unforeseen health problem was a kind of serendipitous happening — that she and Steve would meet face-to-face for the first time in her hospital room — that from that day on they would fall in love — that years later, they would be here saying, “I do” and pledging their love to one another.

You can never go wrong with a rustic, ranch theme reception. Their minimalistic addition of babies breath florals made for a classic touch of elegance to their reception tables and cake.
